When we called Bob Gosselin, he was able o meet with us for a planning session to pick places and things that were most meaningful for our son He met us at a local park as well as a tractor show and got several memorable shots including one of him operating a steam engine and another of him sitting on his favorite tractor. Those shots my son loved because they showed genuine smiles as he was doing things he loved. Bob really captured his personality! Bob's photography package was a great value considering the detailed planning session, which included advice on what to wear, and the multiple site visits and shoots. "In the fall of 2022 Nancy and I asked Bob Gosselin to take a portrait of family including our 4 boys, their wives and 6 grandchildren. Bob accepted the challenge and began by meeting with Nancy and me. Bob wanted to see pictures of everyone to document their physical sizes and design a layout for the portrait. He shared best practices as it relates to the clothing colors for the portrait and worked to under our goals for the portrait.
We asked Bob to complete the session when the entire family was at our home for Christmas. Bob arrived 2 hours before and became part of the family. He spent time with each grandchild and adult to get to know them, create an atmosphere of trust and cooperation.
When the daylight was perfects, about 1 hour before sunset we went outside for the photo shoot. Everything went perfectly given the enormous work Bob put into the project before photograph setting. As Bob will tell you, it is all about the pre-work.
Nancy and I purchased two large portraits, one of the entire family which is positioned over the fireplace in our living room. The second one is Nancy and I with our 6 grandchildren, it is positioned in our entry way. As you cans ee, we are blessed and very proud of our family. The portraits Bob created are works of art, not pictures. Nancy and I could not be happier with the outcome and would highly recommend Bob for your family portrait."
